Join Richmond Parks and Recreation for the "City of Richmond Tree Hugging Competition”! After a mindful warmup and a brief talk about the benefits of trees for watersheds, cities, and people, contestants will compete in three main events: Speed hugging, Dedication, and Freestyle.
Event points are multiplied by a factor, so that the importance of speed hugging is less than that of the other two events. The judged event is for everyone who enjoys or is learning to appreciate trees. All are welcome.
